What Some Insurers Might Tell You
After an accident, navigating the insurance process can feel overwhelming. You should always know that you have a choice in where your vehicle is repaired. You are not required to use an insurance company's preferred repair facility or obtain more than two estimates simply because they ask you to. If you are recommended a repair facility by the insurance company, they are legally required to provide you a written disclosure stating that you are not required to use their suggested shop. Not doing so is against North Carolina’s anti-steering laws.
We work directly with your insurance company and the adjuster to develop the appropriate repair plan for your vehicle. From the initial estimate through the completion of your repair, we do our best to help make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
You chose your vehicle. You should have a choice in who repairs it.
